We’ve Put Together a List Of Questions We Get

Frequently Asked Questions

We’ve put together a list of commonly asked questions relating to our second hand stairlifts.

Where do you supply your lifts?

With offices in Dublin and Cork, we cover most major parts of Ireland.

How long does it take to install a stairlift?

Depending on your staircase it can take anywhere from 2 hours up to 6 hours max.

Is there a difference between reconditioned or used stairlifts?

No, a stairlift is second hand, used, refurbished etc. Every stairlift we provide is fully cleaned, batteries replaced alongside any parts that are worn.

I am nervous buying a lift that isn’t new, should I be?

Absolutely not! We’re so confident in the quality of our used stair lifts that we don’t ask for a deposit upon order and if you are genuinely not happy with it then our engineers will remove it there and then.

How do I know it’s a good quality stairlift?

We only use Acorn and Thyssen stairlifts, this ensures you are getting something of good quality that isn’t going to break down. We also provide a full warranty for complete peace of mind.

How old are your stairlifts?

All our second hand stairlifts are between 4-6 year of age, it depends on the current stock.

Can I not buy one and install it myself?

Absolutely you can, however if you want a quality stairlift that’s installed by someone who’s trained and knows what they’re doing – then going with us can be a much safer option.

What aftersales service do you provide?

Our reconditioned stairlifts are backed by our full 2 year warranty for parts and labour.
